Well here is the video or film I found on youtube. I love this site so I can find the most interesting clips. This one in particular is very cute. How some fashions have changed but also how women are portrayed in fashion and film.

RSS feeds

Have looked at RSS feeds and subscribed to a few that were recommended. I do like the Powerhouse Museum site with their fabulous photos. It would be great if we could eventually do something similar with our pictures collection. As a follower of the ABC I am looking forward to receiving the news from that source. They are like a waterfall - information falling into a pool.

Wikis

Wikis are certainly great to bring people together of the same interest. They also increase anyone's knowledge on any subject. The wikis called Library Success was a great site for ideas and to keep-up-to-date with all the latest in the library profession. Book Lovers certainly helped with my latest choice in reading. The Wookieepedia page is certainly an example of people getting together with similar interests. Sometimes you may think you are the only person in the world with such interests but with wikis you find a whole world of people just like yourself.

Gingerbread and tea

I loved this image of the Gingerbread House. It does take team work to make one as we prove every Christmas with our family. The only problem we encounter is the younger of the children keep eating the lollies as soon as they are placed on the house! With the finished result we are pleased with our group efforts as everyone has contributed to some part of the house. Without each other doing their 'bit' it wouldn't look half as good, or taste as yummy! And Gingerbread is wonderful with a nice cup of tea. Blogs are similar. They require a group/team effort. Each person contributing their 'bit' to make the whole. It certainly wouldn't be interesting with only one person posting their pictures, or comments. We all need to communicate and contribute to it.

Here I go!!!

I really do need a cup of tea after all of that. Creating passwords, names and email addresses. I certainly hope I don't loose the piece of paper I have written all those secret passwords on, or I will really bit up the creek without a paddle.
